School Is Back In Session!

Starting the new homeschool year with a 3rd grader, a 10th grader, and an almost 1-year-old, and remembering Logan along the way. Read on for the whole story.

Summer isn’t over, but we have started back to school!
Lots of fun things going on here. Our chickens have matured and are getting close to laying (despite the heat wave we have going on), the hubby and I have started a new rental business, and now the learning continues.
I can’t believe we have a 3rd grader and a 10th grader in our home as well as an “almost” 1-year-old. Time flies for sure when you’re having fun!
The one thing I’m missing is having a middle schooler who would be in 8th grade this year. I can’t seem to get him out of my mind, but Logan would have truly loved being on this adventure with us.
He always kept us laughing and said the most random things that had you thinking and falling off your seat at the same time. Boy, I miss that kid.
However, I really do see his legacy living on in the other 3 kids. The sense of humor, kindness towards others, praying for those in need, and the joy that surrounds us all.
I wanted to share that I am beyond excited about this school year, and I think it is going to be an amazing one! Stick around and find out! (I plan on giving my reviews of the curriculum we’re using this year later on. You’ll find them on our homeschool curriculum page.)
I pray that all of the kids across this nation returning to school will find God and know Him as the ultimate Savior, and if ever in doubt, they need to seek Him in all they do. He is listening always, and we just need to pray and talk to Him daily.
